Snowing Tree in Southern California

Children at a low-income housing complex in Southern California have discovered a rare tree specimen with transforming blossoms that change to snow in mid air.

Local children, bored with the unchanging desert landscape, recently began gathering under the few pear blossom trees on the property, shaking the branches with sticks, and pretending that the falling white blossoms were snow.

One tree, however, produces blossoms that consistently transform into actual cold snowflakes whevener they are knocked off the branches.

All tests performed on the tree show no anomalies with the standard functions of the tree's organism, although the snow flakes have been confirmed as authentic.
